OnPurpose is seeking mission-aligned Licensed Counselors (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) to join our virtual and/or onsite counseling practice in the Cypress area of Houston. Our work centers on restoring hope, healing, and purpose to youth and families in underserved communities. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate clinician interested in providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care within a community and Christian faith-affirming framework.
Counselors will serve adolescents, teens, and families impacted by trauma, working in collaboration with our team to support healing, emotional regulation, and family strengthening.
Conduct intakes and psychosocial assessments with youth and families
Deliver individual and/or family counseling sessions using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
Co-lead or support DBT and trauma-informed group sessions
Collaborate with school staff to identify students needing support
Provide brief resource navigation and crisis support as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards
Participate in case consultation and team meetings as needed
Maintain professional and ethical standards aligned with licensure and organizational policies
Represent OnPurpose’s mission and values of faith, purpose, service, and cultural humility
Current and active license as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Texas. We are not accepting associate licensure at this time.
Experience working with youth and families, preferably in underserved or school-based settings
Proficiency in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
Strong interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team
Willing to be credentialed under the organization's insurance panels
Familiarity with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or willingness to be trained
Bilingual in Spanish or other languages spoken in the Houston area is a plus
***Compensation is based on a 60/40 split of insurance billed***
